building a trusted rental platform for modern urban living.

VietRoom is a rental housing app designed to simplify the process of finding rooms and apartments across Vietnam. The platform connects renters and landlords through a transparent, user-friendly experience—helping people find not just a place to stay, but a place to belong. The goal of the brand identity was to communicate trust, clarity, and approachability in a market often associated with complexity and uncertainty. VietRoom needed to feel reliable yet friendly, modern yet local—supporting users during an important life decision. We focused on designing a brand system that feels familiar, human, and easy to navigate from the very first interaction.

Rental platforms are often perceived as confusing, outdated, or untrustworthy. Many rely on cluttered interfaces, inconsistent visuals, and impersonal communication—creating friction for both renters and property owners. VietRoom needed to stand apart by offering a calm, transparent experience supported by a clear and consistent brand identity. The challenge was to balance functional clarity with emotional reassurance, especially for first-time renters or users relocating to new cities.

We designed a brand identity system centered on clarity, connection, and confidence. - developed a brand concept inspired by “room,” “community,” and location - designed a friendly, modern logo with strong digital readability - created a clean color palette that reinforces trust and accessibility - selected highly legible typography optimized for mobile-first experiences - built a flexible visual system adaptable across app UI, marketing, and partner materials Every element was designed to reduce friction, build confidence, and support intuitive exploration.
